WhatsApp has started rolling out a new feature for its Android beta users that will make it easier for them to make group calls.
According to WABetaInfo, the Twitter handle that tracks the changes and new features on the Facebook-owned instant messaging app, WhatsApp will roll out a feature in the update version 2.18.370 for its Android users.
WhatsApp is still rolling out the group call shortcut, but the activation is very slow. You need to be patient to get the feature.

The icon to start a video call will be placed in the top right corner. Tapping on that will WhatsApp list out all the participants of that group except people that are not in your contacts list. After you have selected the contacts, it will ask you to choose the type of the call between a voice and a video call.
Currently, the process of placing a group call is a bit complicated. Users first have to start a normal call and then add other contacts in that call.
Group calling feature rolled out for WhatsApp iOS Beta users in November
The same group calling icon was rolled out to iOS Beta users also last month with version 2.18.110.17. Apart from this, the changelog for the WhatsApp update also included a fix for:
* issue where opening a chat may unintentionally trigger haptic feedback
* issue where GIFs may stop playing unexpectedly
* issue when downloading Stickers Packs and sending Stickers.
* a bug when you are added or dismissed as an Admin in a group
* some localization issues when chatting with businesses.
* some issues when searching for chats, contacts, and messages
Recently, it was also reported that WhatsApp is rolling out a Sticker support for both its Android and iOS users. Right now, users get access to various stickers packs in the WhatsApp application and have to go through them to select one. WABetaInfo spotted the search option while using stickers.
